Praia, Cape Verde, 15 Aug – The 15th edition of the Cape Verde International Fair (FIC), due to take place from 16 to 20 November in the city of Mindelo, will have Brazil as its guest country and will be entitled, “15 years promoting business in Cape Verde.”
There will be new sectors at this edition of the fair including fashion, art and culture, at what is considered to be the biggest business event in the country.
Similarly to previous years, the 2011 fair will be a multi-sector event, with exhibitors mainly from Brazil, Portugal and the Canary islands.
The board of FIC said it was working on boosting the presence of those countries, but also on encouraging exhibitors from African countries, mainly those from Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), in order to provide the possibility of commercial exchange and partnerships.
FIC aims to increase investments and create businesses as well as provide opportunities for promotion, partnerships and commercial contacts with a view to developing Cape Verde’s economic operators. (macauhub)
