Longonjo, Angola, 16 Aug – Angolan company Saiadubos is investing US$6 million in construction, in the Longonjo municipal area, of a fertiliser factory, work on which began Wednesday, Angolan news agency Angop reported.

Speaking Saturday to Angop, businessman Zacarias Gabriel João, the managing director of Saiadubos, said that the factory would be ready in December when production of ammonia-based fertiliser would begin for use by rural workers in the province.

Although he did not specify how much fertiliser would be produced, the businessman said that the factory would provide 100 new jobs, and that employees would be specifically trained to handle the factory’s machinery. (macauhub)
