Sao Paulo, Brazil, 2 Sept – The Brazilian subsidiary of Chinese heavy construction equipment group Sany, plans to turnover 200 million reals this year in Brazil, a rise of almost four-fold on the 51 million reals posted in 2010, one of the company’s vice presidents said in Sao Paulo.

Speaking to state news agency Agência Estado, Romano Rosa, the main vice president and director of the cement pumping machinery department, also said that, with the inauguration of a factory in Brazil in less than two years, the company expects to achieve turnover of 2 billion reals in 2014.

“We are placing new product lines on the market and expanding our distribution network, which boosts our projections for 2014,” said Romano Rosa, during Concrete Show South America held in Sao Paulo.

The group currently operates a crane and digger assembly centre in São José dos Campos (Sao Paulo State) and has started construction of a factory in Jacareí (also in Sao Paulo state), with an estimated investment of US$200 million. (macauhub)
