Luanda, Angola, 31 Oct – The forecast for the business portfolio of Angolan insurance company Empresa Nacional de Seguros (ENSA) for this year is estimated at US$300 million, the commercial director of ENSA, Manuel Assis said Friday in Luanda.
Assis told Angolan news agency Angop that the projection was made based on the various insurance products the company offered on the Angolan market, specifically Work-related, Health, Vehicle and Personal insurance.
Of those insurance products, Assis said that the most sought out was Health insurance.
Manuel Assis also said that the company planned to open new branches by the end of this year, and that it currently had 27 branches in Angola’s 18 province, including services in banks and car showrooms.
ENSA was named the best state company in 2011 by the Centre for Public Policy and Governance Research of the Law Faculty of Agostinho Neto University (UAN), which over two months (July and August) carried out a State Business Sector study. (macauhub)
