Mozambican government to repair road between Marrupa and Ruaça

Maputo, Mozambique, 30 Dec – The Mozambican government plans to spend around US$24 million (644.7 million meticals) on refurbishment of the road between Marrupa and Ruaça, in Niassa province in northern Mozambique.

Work on the 68-kilometre road is expected to be finished within 18 months of the contract being awarded to a construction company.

As well as asphalting the road the project includes construction of three reinforced concrete bridges.

Work on refurbishing the road (N14 Road) will widen it to 10 metres. (macauhub)
