Heavy goods vehicles representative in Angola plans to build tractor factory in the country

Luanda, Angola, 3 Jan – Heavy goods vehicle representative company Campotec this year plans to invest in a factory for construction and assembly of medium-sized tractors in Angola, the company’s commercial director, Rapesh Raval said.

“Construction of new installations as well as the factory are part of our plans for the future. Construction of the factory is being studied, as the company has sufficient financial resources to invest in Angola,” Raval said speaking to Angolan news agency Angop.

He also said that in 2012 the representative would open branches in the provinces of Huambo, Malange and Moxico, in order to extend its offer of products and services into the interior of the country.

Campotec, which has been in the Angolan market for 19 years, has 170 workers, 125 of which are based in Luanda, and sells all types of heavy vehicles. (macauhub)
