Luanda, Angola, 11 Jan – Angola is due to take part, next February in Lisbon, in the International Wine, Fish and Agri-Food Salon “Sisab-Portugal 2012” with around 200 buyers, or double the number registered for the 2011 edition, Angolan news agency Angop reported.
Speaking to the agency, Carlos Morais, chairman of Mundo Eventos, the company organising the fair, said that the 2012 edition would also be attended by over 170 Russian economic agents, 30 Japanese, 73 Chinese, several South Africans, 53 from Algeria, 73 from Morocco, 26 from the United Arab Emirates and 14 from Egypt.
In all, we are expecting over 1,200 international buyers, amongst which are large supermarket and distribution chains,” said a statement from Mundo Eventos.
The 17th edition of Sisab-Portugal will be held in Lisbon from 27 to 29 February and is internationally-recognised as the biggest annual food sector meeting in Portugal and will be attended by 400 Portuguese companies from 28 sectors. (macauhub)
