Brazil’s Camargo Corrêa to rebuild road in Angola’s Huíla province

Lubango, Angola, 19 Jan – The reconstruction of 55 kilometres of the Lubango-Quilengues road, which began in 2005, will be concluded next July, the area’s municipal administrator, Armando Vieira said Monday.

Vieira said that work was focused on the Rio Kutembo-Quilengues section of the road, which is the responsibility of Brazilian construction company Camargo Corrêa, and the Quilengues-Cacula section, handled by Angolan construction company Engevia Construção Civil e Obras Públicas Lda.

The Quilengues municipal area is 142 kilometres north of Lubango, the capital of Huíla province, along the road corridor linking southern and central Angola, through Benguela province. (macauhub)
