Portuguese group Hipogest plans to invest in setting up a refrigeration network across Angola in partnership with Angolan business people, costing around 38 million euros, a source close to the project said in Luanda Thursday.
According to Portuguese news agency Lusa, the investment will be made by Hipogest and the project is intended to support distribution of foodstuffs by creating five refrigeration hubs in Angola.
The announcement of the investment was made on the sidelines of the official visit by Portugal’s Minister for Agriculture, the Sea, the Environment, and Land Planning, Assunção Cristas to Angola.
The investment project has already been approved by the Angolan government. (macauhub)
