The company Sociedade de Construções Soares da Costa has won the contract to design and build housing for Angola LNG personnel (1st phase) in Soyo, Angola, the Soares da Costa group announced in a statement sent to the market regulator.

In the document disclosed by the Securities Market Commission the group adds that its affiliate will carry out the project in consortium with the company MSF (Moniz da Maia Serra e Fortunato) and that each company will have a 50% stake.

The project must be completed within 36 months and has a total tender value of US$252 million, increasing Soares da Costa’s orders in the Angolan market by nearly 19.5%

The housing is meant for technical personnel and respective families from the Angola LNG industrial unit for collecting, storing and distributing natural gas in Soyo. The buildings of the associated industrial complex have already been built, also by Soares da Costa.

The contract envisages the construction of 217 dwellings of various types, for a total housing area of 10,000 square meters, along with various infrastructures and support facilities. (macauhub)
