Brazil’s Embraer aeronautics company delivers 34 aircraft in 1st quarter

The Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica (Embraer) delivered 21 aircraft to the commercial aviation market and 13 for executive aviation during the first quarter of 2012, the Brazilian company indicated in a statement released on Tuesday in São José dos Campos.

Embraer also indicated that the figure surpassed the mark of 20 commercial and 8 executive jets recorded in the first three months of 2010.

At the end of last March the portfolio of firm delivery orders was valued at US$14.7 billion for 21 aircraft for the commercial aviation market (13 of them Embraer E190s) and 13 aircraft for the executive aviation market.

The Brazilian company indicated it still hoped to deliver from 105 to 110 commercial jets, 75 to 85 light executive jets and 15 to 20 large executive jets this year, thereby obtaining estimated net revenues of from US$5.8 billion to 6.2 billion. (macauhub)
