Portugal’s MonteAdriano awarded construction projects worth 70 million euros in Mozambique

Mozambique’s National Roads Administration has hired Portuguese company MonteAdriano Engenharia e Construção to carry out tow construction projects worth a total of 70 million euros, the MonteAdriano group said in a statement issued in Póvoa do Varzim, northern Portugal Tuesday.

The two contracts are for road construction and repair. The first is for two sections of road with a total of 58 kilometres in Zambézia and Niassa provinces, and the second is for two sections of road totalling 90 kilometres in Tete province.

The contracts are for execution of the project, earth works, drainage, ground stabilisation, paving, and signage and safety. The deadline for completion is 18 months. (macauhub)
