Macau casinos post revenues of US$3.13 billion in April

Gross gaming and gambling revenues in Macau in April totalled 25.003 billion patacas (US$3.13 billion) in April, which was 21.9 percent more than in the same month of 2011, according to figures published by the Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (GICB).

Official figures showed that in the first four months of the year, gross revenues for the sector totalled 99.318 billion patacas, or 25.7 percent more than for the January to April period of 2011.

Macau currently has 35 casinos operated by six groups. (macauhub)
