Macau economic association organises business trip to East Timor

28 May 2012

The International Lusophone Markets Business Association (ACIML) is organising a trip to East Timor in search of business and investment opportunities, sad the chairman of the association, Eduardo Ambrósio, cited by the Macau press.

The trip is scheduled for after the legislative elections in East Timor on 7 July and the association plans to make use of the US$1 billion fund set up by Forum Macau in response to a call for foreign investment in the country by the East Timor authorities.

Noting that there were “many opportunities” Ambrósio declined to give details of the delegation saying only that areas of investment had already been defined, and included health and construction. (macauhub)
