Over 2 million tourists visit Mozambique in 2011

Over 2 million foreign tourists visited Mozambique in 2011 Mozambique’s Prime Minister, Aires Ali said in Maputo at the opening session of the 3rd National Tourism Meeting.

Ali said that this level of tourism had led to revenues of around US$230 million for Mozambique.

Professionals from Mozambique’s tourism sector met in the Mozambican capital to “study solutions and ways of adding value to best practices, with the aim of perfecting the strategy for the tourism sector’s intervention in the national economy.” (macauhub)
