Angola provides US$10 million in funding to Sao Tome and Principe

Angola will provide funding of US$10 million to Sao Tome and Principe, German news agency Deutsche Welle said following a visit by Sao Tome’s president to Luanda.

The funding is to be used to build a number of unspecified facilities on the West African archipelago.

The financial air was announced by the Angolan Foreign Affairs minister, Georges Chicoti, at the end of a visit by the Sao Tome president to Angola.

According to Chicoti, “Angola will help Sao Tome to refurbish its port and in agriculture.” (macauhub)
