China Telecom and China ComService set up headquarters in Brazil

China Telecom and China Communications Services Corporation (China ComService) announced Monday that the plan to set up their Latin American headquarters in Sao Paulo, Brazil with a view to expanding their businesses in the region.

“China Telecom in Brazil plans to set up partnerships with Latin American and Brazilian telecommunications operators to expand our network coverage and service,” said the president of China Telecom Americas, Donald Tan.

“China Telecom do Brasil,” which is managed by China Telecom Americas, provides voice services for communication between Brazil and the Asia Pacific regions, including China . China Telecom do Brasil will provide international voice and data services to multinational companies, organisations and international operators based in Brazil, and to multinationals based in China that need a link between Brazil and China and other Southeast Asian countries.

China Communications Services in Brazil will provide telecommunications infrastructure services such as drawing up projects, project construction, supervision and management, maintenance, distribution of telecommunications products and services, along with other IT services.

“Supplying high quality services in Brazil will make it possible for China ComService to gain experience to perfect and solidify its services in Latin America,” said the executive vice president of China ComService, Xiaoyi Liu. (macauhub)
