Indonesia, Malaysia, Senegal, and Singapore are due to take part for the first time in the Luanda International Fair (Filda) this year, which is taking place from 17 to 22 July in the Angolan capital, the fair’s organisers said.
As well as the host country, Angola, and the four countries mentioned above, this year the following countries will also take part: Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Cape Verde, China, south Korea, Cuba, Egypt, Spain, USA, France, India, Italy, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Nigeria, Norway, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Kenya, United Kingdom, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, and Zambia.
Macau will also take part in the fair and the guest country for this year is South Africa.
This year the fair, which is in its 29th year, is entitled, “The challenges of attracting investment: Strategy, legislation, institutions, infrastructure,” and will involve a total of 700 exhibitors, including 315 from Angola.
Filda is a multi sector business fair that every year since 1983 has brought together national and foreign companies to exhibit their products and services, as well as to contact potential business partners. (macauhub)
