Mozambique’s National Tourism Institute (Inatur) is due to attend he next edition of the Maputo International Fair in order to publicise the country’s tourism potential to both foreign and national exhibitors and visitors, an official from Inatur told Macauhub in Maputo.
Nuno Fortes, from Inatur’s marketing department said that participation in the Maputo International Fair (Facim) was one of the most important activities for promoting domestic tourism.
As well as Inatur itself, tour operators will take part in the next Facim, as will all the country’s provinces.
Last week Inatur announced Mozambique’s participation in four international fairs where it plans to showcase the country’s potential as tourist destination.
According to Inatur, a unit of the Tourism Ministry, Mozambique will attend the following fairs: Sanganai/Hlanganani (Harare, Zimbabwe), TTG Incontri (Rimini, Italy), World Travel Market/WTM (London, United Kingdom) and EIBTM (Barcelona, Spain). (macauhub)
