Ten private investment contracts, worth US422 million, were signed Wednesday in Luanda by the National Private Investment Agency (ANIP) and by national and foreign investors, Angolan news agency Angop reported.
The contracts involved the following companies: Bonjur, Himoinsa Angola, Wuijin (Angola), Losan, Xun Tong Internacional, Beijing Construction, Genoyer, Sotkon, IBR Solutions and Yata Internacional, from the food, construction and services sectors.
The president of ANIP, Maria Luísa Abrantes, said that the agency planned to increase investments and technology transfer in order to reduce imports and to redress imbalances between different regions of the country.
ANIP is the government body responsible for carrying out national policy on private investment, its promotion, coordination, and supervision. (macauhub)
