The fourth edition of the Angola International Mining Fair (FIMA) is due to begin Thursday in the Luanda International Fair (Filda) venue, with the participation of 120 Angolan and foreign companies, the fair’s organisers said in a statement issued Monday.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Geology and Mining and the Ministry of Industry in partnership with Feira Internacional de Luanda (FIL) and is intended to promote investments related to the re-launch of diamond production and the mining sector in Angola.
The statement said that the main aim of FIMA s to make one of the biggest attractions within the African mining market.
The fair, which is due to be held from 27 to 30 September, will be attended by companies from Angola, Argentina, Portugal, Dubai, the Netherlands, Germany, and Namibia.
The exhibition area will cover 6,000 square metres and the event will showcase the mining exploration, concession management, aggregates, components, auxiliary equipment, and replacement parts segments. (macauhub)
