The Sagres brand of beer, which is manufactured in Portugal by Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas (Centralcer), may be produced in Angola, the company’s sales director in Angola, Paulo Gomes, said Tuesday in Luanda.

During the presentation of a new campaign by the brand and the launch of Sagres Mini in a can in Angola, Gomes said that the company planned to start producing this brand of beer in Angola and added that an announcement about this would be made soon.

Sagres currently has at least a 7 percent share of the Angolan market and this year expects to see that share increase by two percentage points. (macauhub)
