Increased mining activities in Mozambique have led to the business expansion of South Africa’s Akhanani Cranes, which sells the elevation equipment of French company Verlinde France, said the managing director of the Akhanani Electromechanical Engineering group.
Speaking to the South African press, Arno Dahms noted that the growth of mining in Mozambique had allowed Akhanani Cranes to expand the range of Verlinde France products it offers in Mozambique as well as its level of after sales services.
Dahms noted that Akhanani Cranes had seen a considerable rise in turnover over the last 18 months, and recent growth was related to the launch, in March, of a new catalogue of products from the French company.
Akhanani Cranes is the official distributor in southern Africa for Verlinde France, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of elevation equipment such as bascules, cranes and derricks. (macauhub)
