The China International Trust and Investment Corporation (CITIC) is set to build a new residential area with 6.084 homes in Soyo, in Angola’s Zaire province, which is due to be finished by 2016, the governor of the province said.
The governor of Zaire, José Joanes André said that the new residential area known as “Soyo-2” would be located 14 kilometres east of the provincial capital.
Building work, which will continue until 2016, is due to begin this month according to the coordinator of CITIC Construção, Dyu Yong.
According to Angolan news agency Angop, “Soyo-2” will cover an area of 482 hectares and as well as several types of houses will also have hospitals, schools, including a higher education institute focusing on the oil sector, and retail areas.( macauhub)
