Angola’s National Agency for Private Investment (ANIP) has signed 11 contracts in Luanda with national and foreign investors worth US$23 million, according to Angolan news agency Angop.
The contracts, which are related to the construction and industrial sectors in Luanda will initially create 772 jobs.
Contracts were signed with South African company Bravangola, which will sell furniture, and with construction companies SNECOU, of Nigeria, Alberto de Sá Couto Alves, J. Soares Correia Angola, from Portugal, CRCC17EC, from the people’s Republic of China, and CECP-Construção e Engenharia of Lebanon.
Contracts were also signed with Losan, Fresco Viana and Making Place in the clothes manufacturing sector, centres for preserving and sale of agri-livestock products and production of moveable partitions.
ANIP also signed contracts with Yewing Angola, which will sell motorbikes and with EIP Angola for services. ( macauhub)
