Twenty Brazilian companies from the food and drinks sector plan to travel to Beijing on 20 and 21 November in order to promote their products and d business with Chinese and other Asian buyers the Brazilian press reported.
The mission, organised by the Brazilian Ministry for Development, Industry and Foreign Trade and by Apex-Brasil, and known as Flavours of Brazil will be reserved on 20 November for Chinese buyers, and on the following day it will be opened up to buyers from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The mission’s organisers noted that in the two days of meeting the Brazilian businesspeople are expected to have around 400 business meetings with 50 buyers.
Brazil is the world’s largest exporter of coffee, sugar, ethanol, soy, chicken, and orange juice, and is in the top five for exports of beef and pork, fruit, and chocolate. (macauhub)
