Macau’s casino gaming revenues total US$30.5 billion in first 11 months of 2012

Gross gaming and gambling revenues in Macau totalled 244.258 billion patacas (US$30.532 billion) from January to November, representing a year-on-year rise of 13.0 percent, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (GICB) said.

The accumulated growth rate in November – 13 percent – is the lowest for the year, and has been falling every month since it totalled 34.8 percent in January.

In November alone gross gaming and gambling revenues totalled 24.882 billion patacas (US$3.11 billion), representing year-on-year growth of 7.9 percent.

At the end of September 2012 there were 35 casinos in Macau, 20 of which were owned by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, six by Galaxy Casino, four by Venetian Macau, three by Melco Crown Jogos (Macau) and one each by Wynn Resorts and MGM Grand Paradise, which altogether had a total of 5,497 tables and 17,029 slot machines.
