Japanese-American joint venture to design natural LNG plant in Mozambique

26 December 2012

CCJV, a joint venture between US company CB&I and Japan’s Chiyoda Corporation, has been chosen to design a liquid natural gas (LNG) processing plant, in Mozambique’s Cabo Delgado province, which will be installed by Anadarko and ENI.

CCJV was chosen by US company Anadarko and Italy’s ENI after they announced that they would coordinate their activities in northern Mozambique and together build a natural gas plant, onshore, costing US$50 billion.

Anadarko and ENI also said they expected the first shipment of natural gas to be ready in 2018. (macauhub)
