Foreign investment in Mozambique falls 26 pct in 2012

Foreign direct investment (FDI) approved by the Mozambican Centre for Investment Promotion (CPI) in 2012 fell by 26 percent year on year to US$725.8 million, the CPI said.

In 2011, the CPI approved investment projects valued at US$974.5 million.

The FDI projects approved by the CPI in 2012 were focused on agriculture, banking, construction and tourism. (macauhub)
