Brazilian aeronautical company Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica (Embraer) expects to post turnover this year of between US$5.9 billion and US$6.4 billion, with commercial aviation accounting for over half (52 percent), according to a statement issued Monday.
Commercial aviation will provide between US$3.2 billion and US$3.35 billion, executive aviation will bring the company revenues of between US$1.4 billion and US$1.6 billion and defence and security will account for between US$1.25 billion and US$1.35 billion.
Throughout 2013 Embraer expects to deliver between 90 and 95 commercial jet aircraft, between 80 and 90 large executive jets, after in 2012 it delivered a total of 106 commercial aircraft and 99 executive jets, of which 77 were light and 22 were large.
Embraer also expects to invest US$580 million this year, 300 million of which on product development. (macauhub)
