Angolan government prepares programme of incentive for foreign businesspeople

The Angolan government s preparing a programme of incentives for foreign businesspeople that is expected to be ready by the end of this year, said Angola’s Industry Minister, Bernarda Henriques da Silva.

At the end of a conference on “Spanish-Portuguese Business Opportunities and Partnerships with Angola,” held at the Belém Cultural Centre in Lisbon, the minister said that it involved a “programme of incentives” and “public-private partnerships” to attract companies “from Portugal, Spain and Italy,” to a country “where there is a lot to do.”

The conference discussed Angola’s advantages – a country with a growing economy, where there is a lot to do and which has a lot of natural resources – and the disadvantages – excessive bureaucracy, requiring time and financial resources form companies. (macauhub)
