The complete range of executive jets of Brazilian aeronautical company Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica (Embraer) will be exhibited at the 2013 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) in Shanghai, the company said in a statement.
The ABACE will be held from 16 to 18 April at Hongqiao International Airport in Shanghai, China, and Embraer will have its Lineage 1000, Legacy 650 and Phenom 300 on static display.
Ernest Edwards, president of Embraer’s executive aviation division, said, according to the statement, that sale of these types of aircraft in China had risen by 40 percent in 2012 and added that “the Chinese market has been receptive to Embraer’s aeroplanes.”
Since the first executive jet was delivered to the Chinese market in 2004, Embraer has had firm orders for 28 aircraft and options for a further five in the region and movie star Jackie China has become the company’s ambassador for this business segment, and took part in the launch of the Legacy 650 in China.
