More Brazilian franchises are due to open this year in Angola, which is home to 14 percent of the 100 Brazilian franchises operating in international markets, according to information from the Brazilian Franchising Association, cited by the Brazilian press.
In total, 15 Brazilian brands operate in the Angolan market, including Supersan, which is the most recent to have entered the market and the first amongst those that had planned to do so this year, a move in which it invested around US$300,000.
Daniel Gamez, director for expansion at Supersan, said that a study had been carried out before choosing Angola for its first unit outside Brazil.
According to the ABF the following Brazilian brands are in the Angolan market: Richards, Bob’s, Mundo Verde, Fisk, Sapataria do Futuro, O Boticário, Mister Sheik, Werner Coiffeur, Green Moda Infantil and Livraria Nobel. (macauhub)
