Brazilian aeronautical manufacturer Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica (Embraer) has sold another Lineage 1000 executive jet to a Chinese customer, during the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE), the company said in a statement issued in Shanghai.
According to the statement issued at ABACE, held from 16 to 18 April, at Shanghai’s Hongqiao International Airport, this deal with an unidentified customer increases the number of orders for Embraer executive jets in China to 29, since the company delivered its first Lineage jet to the Chinese market in 2004.
The Lineage 1000, the biggest of Embraer’s six executive jets, started operating in 2009, has a capacity for up to 19 passengers and a reach of 8,149 kilometres (4,400 nautical miles), which allows for non-stop flights between Beijing and Copenhagen, carrying eight passengers and reserve fuel.
Embraer also said that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Australia’s Hawker Pacific, for technical support to the Legacy 500 executive jet in the Asia-Pacific region. (macauhub)
