Sponsored by the Ministry for Telecommunications and Information Technology and set up by FIL, the 2nd Angolan International Information Technology Salon or Expo TIC 2013 is intended to boost relations between Angolan and international companies operating in the sector.
The organisers also plan to attract state and private universities, technical institutes and training centres, as well as promoting national and foreign projects and good public administration practices.
Luiana Valejo, a FIL senior official, said that, in terms of international participation, companies from Portugal, South Africa, China and Brazil have confirmed they will take part.
Alongside Expo TIC, the Angolan Information and Communications Technology Forum – Fórum Angotic – is also due to take place and will include a number of conferences and talks on issues affecting the sector. (macauhub)
