Mozambican airline Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM) has started flying to international destinations from the airports of Tete and Nampula, without having to stop off in Maputo, the air carrier’s commercial director said.

Cited by Mozambican newspaper O País, Cláudio Banze said that from the two airports passengers could fly to Johannesburg, South Africa, Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar-es-Salam in Tanzania.

Mozambique’s flagship airline has a fleet of 12 aircraft that fly to national destinations and to some countries in Southern Africa. (macauhub)
