22 May 2013

The 3rd Portuguese-Speaking Entrepreneurs Conference is due to be held from 15 to 18 July this year, the conference’s organisers said in a statement issued Tuesday in the Angolan capital.

The event, organised by Prestígio – Liga de Jovens Empresários e Executivos de Angola (the Angolan Young Entrepreneurs League), is intended to provide information about sector and global policies in the Portuguese-speaking world as well as challenges, opportunities and success stories in these countries.

At the conference, which is expected to be attended by around 350 Angolan and foreign businesspeople from Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Sao Tome and Principe and East Timor, participants will also discuss use of social networks as a tool for exchanging information.

The 1st Portuguese-Speaking Entrepreneurs Conference was held in 2011 in Porto, Portugal, and the city of Vitória in the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo hosted the second conference, in 2012. (macauhub)
