More than 200 companies exhibit at Expo Cabinda 2013, in Angola

More than 200 Angolan and foreign companies from the industrial, oil, agro-livestock and food sectors will exhibit at the 1st edition of the International Business Opportunities Fair (Expo Cabinda 2013), to be held from 25 to 28 May, in the city of Cabinda.

The manager of Expo Cabinda 2013, Tatiana Augusto, told Angolan news agency Angop that most of the companies signed up – 220 – have confirmed their presence at this business opportunity fair, which is an initiative of the government of Cabinda province and the Luanda International Fair (FIL).

Augusto also said that seven international companies had confirmed they would take part in the fair, namely from invited countries such as Congo Brazzaville, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Germany and Portugal. Angolan companies will include companies from the provinces of Benguela, Zaire and Namibe.

Expo Cabinda 2013 is also part of celebrations to mark the 57th anniversary of the former town of Vila Amélia becoming the city of Cabinda, on 28 May. (macauhub)
