A partnership in the professional training and insurance consultancy sector to operate in Mozambique has been set up by MLearning and Stratégimo, said Paula Rios, director of MLearning.

MLearning is a subsidiary of the MDS group, the stake-holding company for the insurance and risk management set up by a partnership of Portuguese group Sonae (50.01 percent) and Brazil’s Susano group (49.99 percent).

Cited by newspaper Oje, Paula Rios said that the agreement between the two companies brought together Mlearning’s knowledge of training, insurance and risk and Stratégimo’s experience in supporting business integration in the country to drive new business opportunities.

“Mozambique is a very attractive market for MLearning, due to its exponential growth and the rising value of insurance and professional qualifications.” she said adding that, “Stratégimo, because of its strong local and regional knowledge, is a key partner in the process of moving into the territory.”

In his turn, Pedro Viçoso Martins, director of Stratégimo Moçambique, said that the partnership with MLearning “allows us to boost and diversify the products we offer in Africa and provide a high quality service in an area with enormous potential growth, such as the insurance sector.” (macauhub)
