Angola sets up programme to start a business in 24 hours

26 June 2013

The Angolan government is designing a programme for companies to be started more quickly, the Minister for Justice and Human Rights, Rui Mangueira, said Monday in Luanda.

At the ceremony to launch the “Single Business Office” in the Coqueiros and Rocha Pinto areas of Luanda, the minister said that the aim of the programme was to make it possible for a business to be set up in 24 hours.

Cited by radio station Rádio Nacional de Angola, the minister noted that in the past it had been possible to set up a company in a single day, but added that the high number of requests had slowed the system down. (macauhub)
