Brazil’s Embraer sells first Phenom 300 executive jet in China

The Phenom 300 executive jet will be part of the aircraft fleet of China’s Erdos General Aviation Co. By the third quarter of 2013 following the first sale of this type of aircraft in China, Brazilian aeronautical company Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica (Embraer) said Thursday.

Founded in 2003, Erdos General Aviation is one of China’s top five civil aviation companies and has a fleet of 19 aircraft that have already flown for over 30,000 hours.

Shang Zhanhu, chairman of Erdos General Aviation Co., said “it is an honour to be the first Phenom 300 customer in China, and it marks the start of our partnership with Embraer Executive Aviation.”

Embraer Executive Aviation has a portfolio including orders for 31 executive jets in greater China since 2004 when the first aircraft was delivered. The portfolio includes Phenom 300, Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 and Lineage 1000 aircraft. (macauhub)
