Germany is one of the 35 countries that have confirmed participation in the 30th Luanda International Fair (Filda 2013 – 16-21 July), where it will be represented by 13 companies from different activity areas, the German embassy in Angola announced.
The 13 German companies are mostly involved in the technology and equipment sectors and will be situated in Pavilion 2 with a shared exhibit showcasing their products meant for the Angolan market.
“Germany is interested in a dynamic increase in bilateral commercial relations,” stresses the statement released by the embassy, which also indicates that the German participating companies were chosen by the Leipzig International Fair Executive Company.
Standing out among the German firms whose presence is confirmed at the event are Gauff GmbH & Co. Engineering KG, Bauer Angola Lda, Sebapharma GmbH & Co.KG, Big Dutchman International GmbH, Grimme Landmaschinenfabrik GmbH & Co.KG and the flag carrier airline Lufthansa.
Besides Germany, the following countries have confirmed participation in Filda 2013: the host Angola, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia, Equatorial Guinea, Tunisia, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Cape Verde, Senegal, Egypt, Portugal, Brazil, Spain, England, France, Norway, Italy and Turkey, the guest country at this year’s fair.
The list is completed by Poland, the Netherlands, China, India, Pakistan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Argentina, Cuba and the United States, as well as the territory of Macau. (macauhub)
