The Sao Tome and Principe Agricultural Research Centre and Cape Verde’s Agricultural Research Services Thursday signed a cooperation and exchange protocol, Cape Verde’s director general for Agriculture said.
Carla Tavares also noted that the protocol was signed in the Cape Verdean capital, Praia at the end of a week-long visit by a delegation from Sao Tome and Principe.
According to Cape Verdean news agency Inforpress, the delegation from Sao Tome and Principe ws made up of six technicians from the Agricultural Service, the Directorate for Agricultural Planning and Statistics as well as by 15 farmers.
The visit by the mission coincided with the first International Agro-Business Fair, and it members took part in a number of activities including visits to agricultural units and other places of interest. (macauhub)
