Cape Verdean technicians are set to provide professional training starting on 16 September, to fishermen in Sao Tome and Principe as part of cooperation between the two countries, Radio France International reported.

Over four days Sao Tome fishermen will be trained by technicians from the Cape Verde Professional Training Institute, with the financial support of the European Union (EU).

“There are four training modules, covering subjects ranging from food safety to techniques for handling, refrigerating and freezing the fish,” said one of the Cape Verdean trainers. (macauhub)
