A delegation of 33 businesspeople from Macau is due to visit Portugal next week to explore investment opportunities and promote cooperation between associations from the two territories, said businessman Lino Ho Weng Cheong.
The businesspeople, from the construction, real estate, retail, jewellery and import sectors, are members of the Macau Young Business people’s Association, the Islands’ Industrial and Commercial Federation, the Federation of Industry and Commerce – Central and Southern Districts and the Industrial and Commercial Association of the Northern Area of Macau.
Speaking to Portuguese news agency Lusa, Lino Ho said that the trip to Portugal was intended to promote and boost cooperation between the business and commercial associations, to gather more information about the “golden visa” and explore business opportunities.
The business delegation will take part in a seminar organised by the Portuguese Agency for Foreign Trade and Investment (AICEP) and the Luso-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry about the golden visa, the investment climate and trade relations with Macau. (macauhub)
