Portuguese group opens five-star tourist resort in Cape Verde

The Oásis Atlântico Salinas Sea Resort, the first five-star unit of the Oásis Atlântico – Hotels & Resorts group, on Sal Island in Cape Verde, opened Wednesday according to trade magazine Publituris.

The resort is the result of a 30 million-euro investment by the Portuguese group in Cape Verde, where it already ahs three hotels – Oásis Atlântico Belorizonte, also on Sal Island, Oásis Atlântico Porto Grande on Sao Vicente Island and Oásis Atlântico Praiamar on Santaigo Island.

Located on the beachfront in Santa Maria, the best beach on Sal Island, Oásis Atlântico Salinas Sea is just five minutes from the town and next to Oásis Atlântico Belorizonte, 15 kilometres from Amílcar Cabral Airport.

The new resort has 338 rooms, several swimming pools and conference rooms, along with other facilities. (macauhub)
