Brazil’s Tourism Institute (Embratur) plans by the end of November to open 13 tourism promotion offices abroad, Brazilian news agency Agência Brasil reported.
By opening these offices Embratur plans to gather information about the view markets have of Brazil and work on the relationship with these markets, especially with tour operators and travel agencies..
At an annual cost of 7.5 million reals, Embratur will open offices in Argentina, Peru, Japan, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and three in the United States (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago).
Portuguese PR company Cunha Vaz e Associados will provide its services in European countries, by setting up offices this year in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Lisbon and London. (macauhub)
