Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will visit Mozambique this coming 11 to 13 January 2014 with a view to strengthening bilateral relations, indicates a statement released on Tuesday by the Mozambican president’s office.
According to the statement cited by Mozambique’s AIM news agency, legal cooperation instruments will be signed for the areas of education, energy and agriculture during the visit, which is the Shinzo Abe’s first to Mozambique.
The Japanese prime minister will also attend a 12 January seminar on business and investment opportunities in Mozambique and visit various enterprises.
The Mozambican president received an envoy from Shinzo Abe last November, with whom he considered issues concerning the promotion and strengthening of cooperation ties between the two countries. (macauhub)
