Cabo Verde receives over 75,000 passengers in 157 cruise ships in 2013

The ports of Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) in 2013 received over 75,000 passengers and 157 stopovers by cruise ships, the country’s port management company Empresa Nacional dos Portos (Enapor) said on its website.

According to the published figures, Porto Grande on the island of Sao Vicente received 57 cruise ships with 40,200 passengers and the port of Praia, on the island of Santiago, received 39 ships with around 26,500 tourists.

The port of Porto Novo (Santo Antao), Vale dos Cavaleiros (Fogo), Furna (Brava), Palmeira (Sal), Porto Inglês (Maio), Tarrafal (Sao Nicolau) and Sal-Rei (Boa Vista) received the remaining passengers in the 2013 cruise season. (macauhub)
