Angola’s National Agency for Private Investment (ANIP) Thursday in Luanda signed 19 contracts with Angolan and foreign companies worth around 7.5 billion kwanzas (US$76.6 million).
The contracts were signed by the chair of ANIP, Maria Luísa Abrantes and representatives of the private companies, most of which are from the industrial, services, fishing, retail and construction sectors.
Cited by Angolan news agency Angop, Abrantes said that amongst the contracts signed over the last few months, construction was the top sector followed by the services sector.
The contracts were signed with Angolan companies and companies from countries including South Korea, the Seychelles, China, Germany Portugal, Spain, Italy and Luxembourg.
ANIP is the government body responsible for carrying out Angolan policy on private investment, its promotion, coordination, and supervision. (macauhub)
